PMK stages protest

PMK activists staging a demonstration in front of the Head Post Office to protest the attack on Tamils in Karnataka.

PUDUCHERRY: Activists of the Puducherry unit of Pattali Makkal Katchi on Wednesday staged a demonstration here to protest against the attack on Tamils in Karnataka.

Led by leader of the Pattali Makkal Katchi in Parliament M. Ramadass, the activists staged the demonstration in front of the Head Post Office, near the Assembly Complex to protest the violence against Tamils and damage caused to their property in Karnataka following the controversy over Hogenakkal project.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Ramadass said the Centre should intervene to ensure security to the Tamils .
