MLA appointed SC/ST welfare board chief

NEW DELHI: The Congress MLA from Baljit Nagar, Rajesh Lilothia, has been appointed Chairman of the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes Welfare Board for a tenure of two years. He replaces Amrish Gautam, whose term expired recently.

The SC/ST Welfare Board is responsible for accelerating pace of uplift of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes communities by rendering its constructive contribution in implementation of various welfare schemes.
