Thiruvananthapuram: The Secretariat Pensioners’ Welfare Association has termed improper and untimely the ruling out of the revision of salary and pension at rates recommended by the Sri Krishna Commission for Central Government employees in Kerala by Finance Minister T.M. Thomas Isaac. S. Jitrus, general secretary of the association, said in a statement here on Wednesday that the commission had only submitted its report to the Centre. It was yet to be accepted by the Centre or given to the employees. The organisations of Union government employees had expressed strong dissatisfaction at the recommendations. He said there was no relevance to the ‘anticipatory bail’ taken by the Finance Minister.
