Woman dies

Tuticorin: A woman was struck dead by lightning and many low-lying areas were submerged as heavy rain lashed many parts of the district on Tuesday evening and Wednesday. Official sources said that Lakshmi (50), wife of Kasi, was killed while she was tending sheep at Keezhapandavarmangalam near here in the evening of Tuesday.
