Mayor attends conference in Rajkot

Chennai: Mayor M. Subramanian participated in the All India Mayors’ Conference on urban poverty held at Rajkot in Gujarat on Monday and Tuesday.

Mr. Subramanian made a presentation on the schemes taken up to help the urban poor and improve infrastructure in the city, a release from the Chennai Corporation said here.

He said that roads in the slums had been concretised at the cost of Rs. 67 crore.
