Tiny tots graduate at Prasiddhi School notes



A milestone: Children of Prasiddhi School at the upper kindergarten graduation ceremony.

BANGALORE: Prasiddhi School, Vasanthanagar, organised graduation ceremony for the tiny tots of Upper Kindergarten recently. The programme began with the children reciting shlokas in praise of Ganesha.

Harsha, Gaurav, Neha and Reha spoke about their experiences at school.

Nandini Mundkur, Director, Centre for Child Development and Disabilities, distributed graduation certificates to the children. She stressed the need to follow a five-point pattern for effective parenting. Stressing on the need for supervision, guidance and empowerment of children, she outlined the necessity to provide healthy food, selective TV watching, discipline of mind and body, restrict undue praise an above all maintain balance.

Special day

The graduation day was special for the upper kindergarten children of Sudarshan Vidya Mandir, Jayanagar. Dressed in graduation robes, they received the certificates from paediatrician Sudhindra.

Srishti Inamdar, Shreyas and Maazkhan delivered farewell speeches in English, Kannada and Hindi respectively.

The little ones then presented a song, “Dil hai chota sa” much to the delight of the audience. Krithika, a student of UKG, holding a lamp, spoke on the significance of lighting the lamp and later each student was given a lamp. This was followed by the song “The little guiding light of mine”.

Farewell

St. John’s High School, Vijayanagar, organised graduation ceremony for its outgoing students of Class X recently. The outgoing students spoke about their life at school and also expressed their gratitude to the mentors. Prof. Sathyamurthy enlightened the students on various career options available to them.
