Lecture on Parkinson’s

The Parkinson’s Disease Society of Karnataka will host a lecture series for those affected by the condition and their families to provide counselling at the Rotary Hall on April 4.

Clinical psychologist Lata Hemchand will speak on the pressures faced by patients and families and offer advice to deal with the situation at hand. Dr. Hemchand will discuss issues such as clinical depression which affects about 40 to 50 per cent of patients.
