“Earlier, there was no direct train to Bangalore.
“The push-pull passenger train will leave Kolar every day at 6.10 a.m. and reach Cantonment Station at 8.30 a.m.
In the return direction, the train will leave Cantonment station at 5.55 p.m. and reach Kolar at 8.20 p.m.”
He said the train was being introduced on a trial basis for three months. It would have only three coaches.
“The total capacity would be around 250. We will extend the services after three months, if it proves viable in terms of occupancy,” he added.
