Burglary in Kukatpally

A burglar took away a gold chain weighing 50 grams and Rs. 8,000 from the house of a police head constable, Krishna Rao, at Setwin Colony in Kukatpally on Tuesday night. His wife Rajeswari and children were asleep when the burglar sneaked in by removing window grills of the kitchen.

Student run over

A degree student Rekha, 21, who fell down while getting off a city bus, was killed when came under rear wheels of a Jeedimetla depot bus near Gokul theatre in S.R. Nagar police station area on Wednesday. The victim hails from Karimnagar district and came to city for ICET coaching, the police said. She resides at Punjagutta.
