Easy for NECC

VIJAYAWADA: New Everest Cricket Club (NECC) defeated Gudivada’s Shining Stars CC (SSCC) by seven wickets in the Krishna District Cricket Association’s Power League for the Kartagadda Madhusudhana Rao Memorial Trophy here on Wednesday.

The scores:

SSCC (Gudivada) 154 in 35.5 overs (Koundinya 78, Saraswathi Reddy three for 35) lost to NECC 155 for three in 24.4 overs (Ramesh 67).

Chess tournament

Hyderabad-based Cyber Chess Academy will conduct a two-day Open rapid chess tournament on April 6 and 7 at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium. The entry fee is Rs. 150. For details, call 98665-19924.
