Credit plan released

VIZIANAGARAM: The annual credit plan for 2008-09 has been put at Rs. 1,036 crores. Releasing the credit plan at the District Consultative Committee and Bankers’ meeting on Wednesday evening, Collector B. Kishore has said last year’s plan was Rs. 836 crores. Lok Sabha member Botcha Jhansi Lakshmi, Zilla Parishad Chairperson B. Appala Naidu, Assistant General Manager of Nabard S.B.P. Sarma, GM of Reserve Bank of India Mohd. Razuddin were present.

Crop loans get Rs. 450 crores, agriculture term loans Rs. 75 crores, f arm related programmes Rs. 64 crores, non-farming sector Rs. 39 crores, other priority sectors Rs. 317 crores and non-priority sectors Rs. 91 crores. Correspondent
