Nagercoil: The lawyers of district court here boycotted court proceedings on Thursday to urge the Government to nab some unidentified persons who threw explosive materials into the house Kanyakumari district AIADMK lawyer’s wing secretary, Ashokan (48). According to police sources, there was a land dispute between Ashokan of Vellamadam and Subramaniam (34), deputy secretary of AIADMK youth wing, Thovalai union. In the meantime some unidentified persons threw explosive materials, including detonators, into Ashokan’s house, when he was away at Madurai. On information from other inmates of the house, police rushed to the spot and recovered the explosive materials. The police have registered a case and further investigations are on.
