Yana disqualified, placings revised

Mumbai: Trainer Bezan Chenoy’s ward Yana, who won the HDIL Indian Oaks (Grade I) on January 20, 2008, has tested positive.

The drug found according to confirmatory analysis report from LCH, France was Triamacinolone Acetonide and Metabolite Hydroxy Triamcinolone Acetonide.

The Stewards of the RWITC as per the medication rules, decided to disqualify Yana and to revise the order of placing as under: Sweeping Success 1, Mathematica 2, Peninsula 3 and City Tamer 4.
