BJP minority morcha meet in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The problems faced by minorities in educational, economic and social fields will be discussed at the two-day national executive of the Bharatiya Janata Party Minority Morcha being held here on April 5 and 6.

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, BJP Minority Morcha’s national general secretary, Abdul Rasheed Ansari, said the national executive would be preceded by office-bearers meeting on April 4. About 150 party functionaries, including State Minority Morcha presidents and general secretaries, would attend the national executive.Shah Nawaz Hussain, MP and president of the minority morcha, former Deputy Chairperson of Rajya Sabha Najma Heptullah, BJP national vice-president Mukthar Abbas Naqvi, former BJP president Bangaru Laxman and others would attend the meet. F. S. Layaq Ali, BJP Minority Morcha national vice-president, said encroachment of Wakf properties in Andhra Pradesh and a resolution seeking their protection would be adopted at the executive meeting.
