BHUBANESWAR: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh has announced that his government would support setting up of Utkal Bhawan (Orissa House) in the State capital Raipur and install the statue of Orissa’s well-known freedom fighter Surendra Sai. BJP national secretary and Member of Parliament from Orissa Dharmendra Pradhan who attended the Orissa Foundation Day celebration at Raipur told The Hindu that Mr. Singh made the announcement much to the cheer of the large number of Oriyas residing in there. Mr. Singh felicitated some prominent Oriya personalities staying in Chhatisgarh.
