MLA injured in accident

KASARAGOD: Uduma MLA K.V. Kunhiraman and two others were injured when a speeding tipper lorry collided with the car in which they were travelling on the Kasaragod-Kanhangad road, near Pulloor Koloth, on Friday morning.

Mr. Kunhiraman suffered injuries on his leg. He underwent a minor surgery at a private hospital here.

The other injured were Mohanan (24), a native of Ravaneswaram, and C. Rajan of Uduma. Both were travelling along with Mr. Kunhiraman. One side of the car was completely destroyed in the crash.
