Munnar mela

Kattappana: Forest Minister Benoy Viswom will inaugurate Munnar Mela, being organised by the Idukki district administration, at the Kannan Devan grounds here at 4 p.m. on April 6. The mela is being held to promote tourism in Munnar.

Fisheries Minister S. Sarma will open the exhibition stall. S. Rajendran, MLA, will hoist the festival flag at 10 a.m. District panchayat president Susmita John will open the fruits and vegetables stall. The mela will conclude on April 13. –A Correspondent
