New procurement price from Supplyco

KOCHI: The Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited (Supplyco) says that it will pay Rs.1,000 a quintal to farmers from who paddy has been procured since March 22. Those farmers who had been paid the previous rate of procurement of Rs.900 would get the differential price, Supplyco said in a statement. It added that the differential would be credited to the farmers’ back accounts. —Special Correspondent
