SHRC refuses plea

Bangalore: The Karnataka State Human Rights Commission has refused to interfere with a Lookout Circular (LoC) issued by the police against S. Satyanarayana, a retired manager of the Reserve Bank of India, who is allegedly involved in a criminal case related to “disappearance of soiled notes.” Commission Chairman Justice S.R. Nayak, while dealing with a complaint filed by Sathyanaraya against the police alleging that inclusion of his name in the LoC was violation of his human rights, observed that “mere inclusion of name in LoC does not violate the human rights as a criminal case is pending against him.” — Staff Reporter
