Karunanidhi to inaugurate four NHAI projects

NEW DELHI: Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi will inaugurate four projects, completed at a total cost of Rs.80 crore by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), on April 9. He will lay the foundation stone for a foot-over bridge at Chromepet on the same day.
The Irumbuliyur underpass has been built at a cost of Rs.4 crore. The four-laning of Chennai bypass Phase-I up to Porur has been completed at a cost of Rs.70 crore. The pedestrian subway at Tirisulam was built at a cost of Rs.5 crore while a bus shelter at Chromepet cost Rs.82 lakh.
