CHANDIGARH: The opposition Indian National Lok Dal on Friday held state-wide protest in Haryana against rising prices. The party protested at the district headquarters in the State against what it described as anti-people policies of the Bhupinder Singh Hooda-led Congress government in the State. The protestors submitted memoranda addressed to the State Governor to district authorities pointing out that there been steep hike in prices of essential commodities since the presentation of the Central budget by the UPA government. - PTI
