Call to promote farmers’ interests

KOLAR: Film actor Prem called upon farmers of the district not to sell milk to other States to safeguard the interests of farmers in the region. Mr. Prem, while inaugurating the Foundation Day programme of milk producers cooperative societies here on Thursday, lauded the role of cooperative societies in protecting the interests of milk producers in the region. Kolar Milk Union (Komul) president K.N. Nagaraj presided over the event.
