‘Congress fails to run coalition’

Staff Reporter

ARMOOR (NIZAMABAD DT.): Bharatiya Janata Party former national president M. Venkaiah Naidu has said as a result many partners of the United Progressive Alliance are distancing themselves from the Congress.

Congress has no calibre, capacity, conduct and character to lead the coalition, while it was the BJP which successfully ran the coalition administration at the Centre for five years under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The UPA miserably failed on all fronts, and hence the Congress was defeated in ten States where Assembly polls were held over a period of one year, he said.

Mr. Venkaiah Naidu was addressing the party zonal political Sankalpa Sibiram for Nizamabad, Adilabad and Karimnagar districts at Kshatriya Kalyana Mandapam, here on Friday.
