Easy for SBT ‘A’

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State Bank of Travancore ‘A’ crushed Cycle Brand Kids CC by 99 runs in the Canara Bank-TDCA ‘A’ division cricket league at the Medical College ground here on Friday.

Batting first, SBT powered by half-centuries from Ramakrishnan (88) and V. Suresh (59) scored 291 for eight in its allotted 45 overs. Kids CC was never in the hunt after losing early wickets and could only muster 192 runs in 43 overs.

The scores: SBT ‘A’ 291 for eight in 45 overs (Ramakrishnan 88, V .Suresh 59, Deepan Raj five for 66) bt Cycle Brand Kids CC 192 for nine in 45 overs (Aravind 68, Arun 53, P. Manoj three for 17, Chandrasekhara three for 29).
