Body of engineering student exhumed
KADAPA: Tension prevailed in Proddatur town with students of Vaagdevi College of Engineering and AISF functionaries placing the exhumed body of B. Tech. student Naveen Kumar Reddy, who ended his life by throwing himself under a train at Rajampet.
The students demanded a judicial inquiry by a sitting judge into the circumstances that had driven Naveen to commit suicide.
Father of the deceased Venkateswara Reddy of Velugodu in Kurnool district and large number of students who boycotted classes on Friday, staged a massive dharna at Puttaparthi circle in Proddatur from noon to 4.30 p.m. AISF joint secretary M. Bhaskar demanded arrest of the engineering college correspondent Hussain Reddy and Principal Kumaraswamy under Section 302 IPC.
