Junior State basketball
VIJAYAWADA: East Godavari District Basketball Association (EGDBA) will host the Andhra Pradesh junior basketball tournament (u-19) for boys and girls at District Sports Authority stadium at Kakinada from May 1 to 4.
The State teams to take part in the junior Nationals to be held at Bilwara (Rajasthan) from May 26 to June 2, will be selected.
The trials to select East Godavari district teams will be held at DSA stadium at Kakinada on April 20 in which boys and girls born on or after 1-1-1990 are eligible to take part.
Trials to select the district sub-junior teams will also be held on the same day to take part in the AP sub-junior championship slated at Khammam from May 9 to 12. — Sports Reporter
