Bangalore: The Bangalore police have arrested a six-member gang from Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh that allegedly murdered four persons and committed five dacoities in Bangalore Rural and Chickballapur districts in the past 10 months.

Six other members of the gang are at large.

The CCB sleuths recovered gold jewellery worth Rs. 4 lakh, which they had pledged with pawnbrokers at Bagepalli in Chickballapur district and Dharmavaram and Kadri in Anantapur district.

All the six accused are from the same village in Andhra Pradesh.
