Lucknow: A senior IPS officer was on Saturday placed under suspension by the Uttar Pradesh Government for allegedly not co-operating with the State Anti Corruption Organisation (AOC) in its inquiry against him. DIG, Police Training College, Moradabad, Ramendra Vikram Singh was suspended for not cooperating with the AOC in its probe into the Police and PAC recruitment scam, Home Department sources said here. Mr. Singh was among 25 IPS officers who were suspended by the Government in connection with the scam happened in 2005 and 2006. Over 22,000 police personnel were allegedly recruited without following norms during the previous Samajwadi Party regime.
