Lucknow: Police rescued a six-year-old boy, who was kidnapped last week, when they arrested nine people in this connection in Budaun district on Saturday. Mayank Sharma was allegedly abducted by the group on March 29 last and an FIR was registered at Gunanur police station, Home Department sources said here. Acting on a tip off, a police team surrounded the hideout of abductors in a forest near village Asadpur and arrested the nine and also rescued Mayank, they said.
