Air passengers stranded for 12 hours
Staff Reporter
NEW DELHI: Over 60 passengers of a Cosmic Air flight bound for Kathmandu were stranded at Indira Gandhi International Airport here on Saturday for close to 12 hours as the aircraft could not take off because of a “technical snag”.
The flight – F 5602 – was to take off at 9-35 in the morning but was delayed because of the technical glitch.
“The engineers are looking into the problem. If they give us clearance, we will leave on Saturday itself. Otherwise the flight will depart on Sunday,” an airline official said late on Saturday evening.
The official maintained that proper care was taken of the passengers and they were served food and refreshments.
