Review meet

BERHAMPUR: Orissa envisions to become self-sufficient in paddy seed production. The planners aim to produce five lakh quintals of paddy seeds per year in Orissa in next five years.

Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) of southern division Satyabrata Sahu held a review meeting on agricultural programmes on Saturday. District Collectors and agricultural officers of 10 districts and Agriculture Commissioner U. P. Singh attended this meeting. The officials were asked to put stress on replacement of traditional seed with modern high-yielding seed.
