Three students drown

HYDERABAD: Three sixth standard students drowned in a tank at Kathalapur village near Kukatpally after entering it for bathing on Friday.

T. Teja, 14, of Vivekanandanagar, Katravat Lalu, 15, of Tulasinagar, and B. Tulasi Naidu, 13, of Parabathnagar, were students of Vignana Jyothi High School in Gayathrinagar.

As they did not return home till evening, the parents started searching for them. Around 11.30 p.m., locals found three pairs of clothes on the bank of the tank and recognised them as that of the friends. All the three bodies surfaced in the water on Saturday morning.
