Purchase of landThe Governor’s visit to the Sub-Registrar’s office, situated in the Jaisalmer Collectorate, assumes significance in the context of recent reports of large-scale purchase of land in the border districts of Barmer, Jaisalmer, Bikaner and Sriganganagar. The Governor discussed the land registration process and the documents needed for the same with the Sub-Registrar, Bhur Singh Rajpurohit. He inquired about the normal land transactions in the district in any normal year.
