Veterinary university offers two certificate courses

PUDUKOTTAI: The Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS), Chennai, is offering certificate courses on Dairy Farming and Goat Farming through correspondence for the benefit of the rural youth.
The duration of the Dairy Farming course is six months while it is three months in the case of Goat Rearing course.
The medium of instruction is Tamil and the eligibility for joining the courses is 10th standard. Experience in dairy farming / goat farming is desirable.
Application
Application and prospectus could be obtained from The Director of Extension Education, TANUVAS, Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai 600 051 by a sending a demand draft from any nationalised bank or Indian Postal Order for Rs. 20 in favour of the “The Director of Extension Education, TANUVAS, Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai 600 051” payable at Chennai along with a self-addressed stamped (Rs. 10) envelope of size 27 x 12 cm.
The last date for the receipt of completed applications is April 15, a press release said.
