Tendulkar ruled out of third Test too

Ahmedabad: Sachin Tendulkar was ruled out of the third and final cricket Test against South Africa at Kanpur since he has not recovered from his right groin injury.

According to a press release from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary, Niranjan Shah, “Sachin is making good progress, but he has not recovered sufficiently to be available for the third Test match. This decision has been taken to give Sachin the opportunity to make a full recovery from this injury. Sachin has a rehabilitation program to continue with and will be monitored closely.”

The selectors will meet here on Sunday morning to pick the squad for the third Test which will commence on April 11. — Sports Reporter
