Srinagar: After a ban on wearing of combat dresses and plying of vehicles painted in Army pattern in Baramulla district, the Jammu and Kashmir government has now imposed a similar ban in Bandipora district to foil militant attacks. Authorities in the district have banned the sale, purchase, stitching and storage of such clothes, an official spokesman said on Saturday. Tahsildars and Station House Officers have been directed to conduct frequent raids in their jurisdiction and maintain a record of seized Army pattern clothes and vehicles. — PTI
