100 held

Nearly 100 persons were arrested in various parts of the city when they attempted to stage demonstrations or burn effigies of BJP leader B.S.Yeddyurappa here on Saturday. Police personnel were posted in several places and the demonstrations were prevented, sources said. The arrested were released in the evening.
