AFT workers threaten to intensify agitation

PUDUCHERRY: Members of the Integrated Employees’ Federation of Pondicherry Textile Corporation on Saturday threatened to intensify their struggle if the demands, including parity on dearness allowance, were not met by the government. Organiser R.R. Vazhumuni said that for the past 15 years, the workers of Anglo French Textiles had been demanding parity in dearness allowance with other staff.
