Nominated: P.K. Radhakrishnan, director of the School of Chemical Sciences; M. Maharajan, director of the School of Gandhian Thought and Developmental Studies; and P.J. Jacob, director of the School of Pedagogical Sciences, have been nominated to the existing vacancies of faculty deans at the university Syndicate.

Internship: Students who have passed BLISc. or MLISc. courses can apply for internship in library and information science at the university library, teaching departments and the University Study Centre. For details, log on to www..mgu.net.tc/ www.mgu.ernet.in

Examination dates: The first semester MLISc. degree examinations will begin on May 7. The last date for submitting applications is April 16.

The first semester M.Sc. bioinformatics degree examinations will begin on April 23. The last date for submitting applications is April 10.

The third year examinations of advanced diploma in archaeology and museology course will begin on April 21. The second year examinations will begin on May 5 and the first year examinations on May 15. The last date for submitting applications is April 9.

The seventh semester (five year) LLB examinations and the third semester (three year) LLB examinations at Ernakulam Law College will begin on April 24. The 10th semester (five year) LLB examinations will begin on May 5. The last date for submitting applications is April 11.

Practicals: The practicals of the sixth semester B.Com. (vocational) model-II examinations will begin on April 15 at various centres.

Viva voce: The project evaluation and viva voce of the sixth semester BA English (vocational) model-II examinations will begin on April 16. The detailed timetable can be had from the examination centres from April 11.
