Banichitra awards presented

BHUBANESWAR: Versatile singer-composer Raghunath Panigrahi and cine actor Jayiram Samal were conferred Banichitra Lifetime Achievement awards during the 40th annual Banichitra Awards presentation ceremony at the Rabindra Mandap here on Sunday. The awards, instituted by the Banichitra film magazine, were inspired by the annual Filmfare awards. Banichitra special award was presented to Basant Nayak’s production house Brajaraj Movies.
