Honour for doctor

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Narendra Kumar, Malayali physician in the U.S., has been elected treasurer of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI), an umbrella organisation of over 50,000 physicians in the U.S. Dr. Narendra Kumar, who hails from Chettikulangara in Mavelikara and is a graduate from the Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, is the first Malayali to get elected to the position.
