Promotions in KSEB linked to performance

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) has decided to go in for performance-linked promotions of officers.

A circular issued by the Chairman of the KSEB, dated March 31, said the new promotion norm would become effective in the case of all officers in the rank of Deputy Chief Engineer to Assistant Engineer and from Senior Accounts Officer to Senior Superintendents and Divisional Accountants on the ministerial side. The circular said that all officers would set quantitative targets in at least five areas on which they would like their performance to be assessed. These would be finalised in consultation with their supervisor.
