MCD to sanction building plans

NEW DELHI: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has decided to sanction building plans on plots on notified commercial roads as per the residential development control norms. The necessary instructions have been issued and will be implemented soon.

In a statement over the weekend, Standing Committee Chairman Vijender Gupta said: “With this decision, the owners of plots abutting on over 3,000 notified roads will get the benefit of sanction of their building plans. Over 2 lakh property owners would now get the chance to construct their residential premises constructed.”
