Corrections and clarifications

* * A letter, from Coimbatore (“Bharati’s letters – Letters to the Editor” column, April 7, 2008), had the name of English poet Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822) misspelt as P.B. Shelly.

* * The caption of the accompanying AFP photograph in a Reuters report “Bid to disrupt Olympic torch relay” (“International” page, April 7, 2008) was “A protester (in brown jacket) attempts to grab the Olympic Torch from television presenter and Torch bearer Konnie Huq (not pictured) in London on Sunday.” As the page was non-colour, there was no way of making out who was in the brown jacket. The error was in the early editions. (In the published picture, the protestor was second from left.)
