Ashok Leyland sales up 27 p.c.

CHENNAI: Ashok Leyland has achieved total sales of 10,698 units in March this year against 8,437 units in the year ago period. Domestic sales were higher by 20 per cent at 9,542 vehicles against 7,929 vehicles. Exports have more than doubled to 1,156 units from 508 units. Total sales in April–March 2007-08 were higher at 83,309 numbers against 83,094 numbers, according to a company release. — Corporate Reporter
