Union Bank launches reverse mortgage plan

CHENNAI: Union Bank of India has announced reverse mortgage scheme for senior citizens, Union Reverse Mortgage Scheme. The scheme enables home owners to obtain monthly payments against the mortgage of their homes as long as they continue to live. There are no repayment obligations as the loan becomes due only on the death of the owner or the last surviving spouse. — Corporate Reporter
