Delhi Audit, RBI enter super-league

NEW DELHI: Delhi Audit defeated Delhi Administration 6-0 in a group ‘B’ match of the DSA senior division institutional football league at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Monday.

Hitender Rawat (2), Sameer Jung, Rattan, Rishi Kapoor and Avneet scored for Audit which ensured its place in the super-league.

In group ‘A’, Reserve Bank of India recorded a 7-0 triumph over Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC). Shailender Rawat (2), Rajeev, Rajesh Rawat, Anil Tomar, Mohan Nath and Basab Bhattacharya scored for RBI.

RBI also made it to the super-league after pipping Zakir Hussain College on better goal difference after both teams finished with six points.

In another group ‘A’ encounter, Food Corporation of India (North Zone) drew 1-1 with Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC). Ashish Pandey scored for FCI, while Shekhar Khanna equalised for ESIC. — Special Correspondent
