PUDUCHERRY: Deputy Inspector-General of Police A. K Singh, who is temporarily holding charge of Jail, on Monday, visited the Central Prison in the backdrop of the seizure of mobile phones from the inmates of the prison. According to sources, Mr. Singh held a preliminary inquiry into the incident in which the jail authorities seized several mobile phones on Sunday. — Staff Reporter
