Symposium on equality
NEW DELHI: A symposium on socio-economic thought titled “Progressive Utilisation Theory” (PROUT) was organised by Proutist Universal at Aurobindo Society here on Sunday.
Addressing the gathering, Utkal University professor A. K. Mohanty explained the five principles of PROUT and lauded its salient characteristics of advocating a minimum guarantee of food, clothes, medicine, shelter and education for all. JNU professor of environmental science S. Mukherjee was the guest of honour and former Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court D. S. Tewatia the chief guest.
