Foreigner molested

BANGALORE: A 28-year-old nurse from the Philippines was allegedly molested by the employee of a serviced apartment on Millers Road where she was staying.

The nurse has filed a complaint against the man who worked as a receptionist there. On April 4, Srikant, who worked as a receptionist in the service apartment, came to her room at night to discuss some telephone calls that were made to her. He then allegedly tried to molest her, only to be slapped and evicted by the nurse who then called her friend in New Delhi. He in turn called Yaseen Baba, the editor of an Urdu daily newspaper, and sought his help.

Srikant was arrested in the evening after the High Grounds Police filed a case.
